Going the Way of the Dinosaurs

Watch Peter Sinclair's rundown on climate change and extinction. It's a topic that's generally ignored by the media. There's a misconception that mass extinction happens overnight when in reality it takes a long time to occur.

The Sierra Club's Resilient Habitats program is designed to soften the blow and make it a bit easier for habitats and ecosystems to adapt to changing times. Check out the program and get involved.

And while we're on the topic, celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and send the White House the message that the Refuge needs permanent protective status.
