The Electric Car Strikes Back

The Revenge of the Electric Car trailer has been released and I am pretty excited. The documentary was made by the same folks who put out the 2006 film Who Killed the Electric Car?, which explored the various roles the government, oil companies, and auto makers played in the demise of GM's EV1.

As we all know, the current resurgence of electric cars marks a whole new ballgame. What I particularly liked about this preview is the sense that automakers are feeling the pressure of competition and the urgency of meeting the demand out there. Revenge will be released in early 2011.
