This is such good news! It is slow coming, but if fuel prices increase (as they will), people will turn to renewables more and more. We all need to try and generate a little of our own power to reduce our need for fossil fuels. I have solar hot water with natural gas as back-up, and my gas bill is incredibly low. The system will pay for itself in six years, too, then hot water will be just about free. I found The Organic Mechanic http://www.organicmechanic.com/ to have a wide variety of products for homeowners to upgrade their homes. The customer service is great, too. Get to it, people!

This is great news! I live in Georgia the largest importer of coal in the nation. In order to counter the roll big energy has in congress I volunteer with the Citizens Climate Lobby. We are proposing a Carbon fee and dividen bill to our congressional members that would put a annually increasing fee on carbon and return 100% of it to all citizens. This would make fossil fuels more expensive each year, create a huge energy efficiency and green energy market here in the US and give us all the money to pay for our transition to a sustainable economy. Check it out at citizensclimatelobby.org and join our million letter march.
