On September 22, the Sierra Club partnered with the Audubon Society, MPIRG, Fresh Energy, Indigenous Earth Network, and others to host “Alberta Tar Sands: Minnesota’s Dirty Oil Secret” at St. Thomas University in St. Paul, Minnesota. The event featured: Simon Fuller, Pembina Institute’s Oil Sands Director; Clayton Thomas-Muller, IEN’s Oil Sands Organizer; and Michael Noble, Fresh Energy Director—with more than 220 people in attendance.
