Across California: Ft. Irwin Road
We arrived at Ft. Irwin Road this afternoon, finishing a 15-mile day. Temps have moderated into the 80s, but winds picked up yesterday, with gusts to 35 mph on Mad's weather gizmo. We had to put rocks on all of our food bags, pads, hats, and other paraphernalia to keep them in sight. --time to eat! Will continue later.
