Saving Santa
Looking for a last-minute gift that shows you care about the environment too? Reader Tom Dusky from Huntington Woods, Michigan, writes:
"This Christmas, I am giving long underwear, with a note from Santa saying: 'Save Santa's home at the North Pole by reducing global warming. If you are good and wear your long underwear, you can turn your thermostat down 3 or 4 degrees and still be comfortable. Don't forget, Santa can't swim!'"
Happy holidays!

You all know carbon dioxide is a gas that is water soluble right? This means that the CO2 gas and other gases are absorbed by the moisture in the biosphere and atmosphere. The earth is a huge CO2 sink.
We have already burned 20 percent of the worlds fossil fuel reserves. Atmospheric CO2 concentrations have increased by a microscopic 110 parts per million over the past 150 years.
Our atmosphere is approximately:
78 percent nitrogen.
21 percent oxygen.
1 percent argon.
.038 percent carbon dioxide.
I wouldnt be concerned about breathing as some of you hopefully jokingly point out.
Its -69 on Greenland right now. After burning 20 percent of the worlds fossil fuel reserves, the global temperatures have increased by .6 degrees celcius over the past 100+ years.
Its gonna take alot more than a few degrees of warmth to melt the caps people. We have NOT even warmed the earth 1 degree, IF you 100 percent blame man to begin with.
Your intentions may be good, but the results of your deeds would be sophomoric.
Man made global warming...the biggest hook, line and sinker. WAKE UP!
