Vegetarian Vampires

Perhaps it's no accident that World Vegetarian Day (October 1st) coincides with the beginning of the Halloween season. According to Ecorazzi, Twilight inspired trendsters have a new costume option: the vegetarian vampire. So unearth last year's Dracula cape and recycle the dusty classic into a kinder, greener costume. Apparently, the addition of gold contacts means you're a vege-vamp (the definition of "vegetarian" is applied differently to vampires, so animal rights activists might want to take it a step further and opt for a vegan vampire costume). If you're really serious about your vampy image, complete the scene with a creepy (recycled!) coffin couch. Take a bite out of global warming with planet-friendly meatless meals, and your costume is complete.
