Trying to impress your sweetie for Valentine’s Day but don’t want to break the earth’s heart? This week we’re letting you know how to be romantic and green.
Tip #3: Rethink Romantic Gifts
We know, we know: Valentine’s Day is a consumerist holiday invented by greeting-card companies, jewelers and chocolatiers. But that doesn’t mean it can’t be enjoyed responsibly and in a giving spirit. This year, consider giving e-cards instead of paper cards, antique or recycled jewelry, ethical chocolate, organic (or home-grown) flowers, and digital playlists instead of packaged CDs. If you must wrap your gift, consider planet-friendly options.

Though Its personal preference what you want to gift your partner/friend... Also it depends on your current financial position.
But in this time of Crisis, Most of us should better avoid Spending on parties.... instead Buying and presenting some LONG Lasting gift.... something which can be of use to our partner ... After valentine day is over.
:)
Happy Valentines Day!

My husband got me a composter for Valentines Day. He knows me sooo well. I took him shopping and let him choose his gift.

While it is after the fact, instead of a present, my boyfriend made me an incredible dinner...and he never cooks so I was estatic.

Not so sure how I would feel about receiving an e-card instead of a regular one. I like getting the real thing, although it would be nice if they were made using recycled paper.
