Women's History Month: At School

Women and education March is Women's History Month, so this week we're pairing notable events in women's history with a related tip that you can use whether you're female or male.

Events: In 1833, Oberlin College became America's first co-ed college. In 1838, Mount Holyoke College became the first college for women. In 1969, Princeton University started admitting women.

Tip: If you're deciding where to go to college, take schools' sustainability practices into consideration. If you're a current college student, initiate programs that will make an environmental difference. If you're a graduate, communicate to your alumni association that your donations are contingent on whether the school is making green efforts.
