Green Your Job: Save Trees, Conserve Paper
Whether you work full-time, part-time, or are looking for a job, we've got tips for reducing your environmental impact at work. This week we're showing you how to turn your career into a green job.
Tip #2: Reduce Paperwork
According to the EPA, the average office worker goes through 10,000 sheets of paper per year. Cut that number in half by printing on both sides of the page. Better yet, store and share documents online to save yourself a trip to the printer. For those times when a hard copy is necessary, keep your supply cabinet stocked with recycled paper from a green office-supply company.
