Green Your Fashion Sense: Jewelry
A few months ago, we gave you advice about how to green your wardrobe. This week’s tips, about how to green your fashion sense, are different in that they recommend specific brands in specific categories.
Tip #2: Jewelry
Some of the most eye-catching jewelry is made of stuff that had a past life – and many of these types of baubles can be found on Etsy, a global network of artisans selling handmade works. Take, for example, Hagarae's one-of-a-kind necklaces made of old men’s neckties. Or Wired Originals' dainty pieces fashioned from 100 percent reclaimed silver. Or QA Create, whose earrings, bracelets, and cufflinks center on the use of old typewriter keys.
If you're creative, consider making your own jewelry from found objects.
