Icy Images of the Arctic

These pictures were taken by Joshua Paul, a travel photographer who recently crossed the Northwest Passage on a military ice-breaking ship. The photos are part of his series, "The Arctic," which is on display at the Clark Oshin Gallery at The Icon in L.A. through Nov. 14.

The above photo was taken at the Barrow Strait.

The ship works its way through Lancaster Sound.
