Green Your Greeting Cards: Online and Recycled Options

Even Santa sends eCards Holiday correspondence certainly spreads cheer, but it also consumes trees and increases waste. This week, we'll show you how to reuse, recycle, and rethink greeting cards.

Tip #2: Consider eCards or Buy Recycled Cards

Skip the paper altogether by sending your holiday greetings by e-mail. Today's eCards often feature engaging graphics and music, so recipients are sure to be entertained. If eCards aren't your thing, opt for cards made with 100 percent post consumer waste. New Leaf's Karma Cards are perforated so that they can be reused as postcards.
