The Waiting Game: Virginia senator John Rockefeller proposed a bill that would ban the EPA from regulating power plant emissions for a two-year period. Business Green and ENS

Dirty Dirt: The Organic Consumers Association staged a protest against San Francisco's bio-solids compost giveaway program. The group says the compost, made from processed sewage sludge, "belongs in a hazardous waste dump." San Francisco Chronicle

Bird Watchers: The U.S. Interior Department said the sage grouse will not be listed under the Endangered Species Act, but oil drilling permits that could threaten the bird's habitat will be reviewed with "more scrutiny." Reuters
