Green Your House Party: Plan the Viewing

DVD player The first episode of the Discovery Channel’s new series, Life, the follow-up to the spectacular Planet Earth, airs on Mar. 21. It's a great opportunity to raise awareness and inspire conservation efforts by hosting a viewing party. This week’s tips will show you how.

Tip #3: Attend to the Details

Now that you’ve decided whom to invite to your Party for Wildlife, it’s time to plan it. Think through the evening; will you need extra chairs? Name tags? Pens? Before popping in your sneak peek of Life, make sure your TV and DVD player (both Energy Star-approved, of course) are set up. And serve your organic refreshments on reusable dishware
