Unclear Waters:
A recent global study found that all that plastic in the water has caused bisphenol A (BPA) to seep throughout the world’s oceans. The chemical causes reproductive disorders in marine life, and could transfer to humans who eat fish. Wired

Thin Skin:
Farm workers who deal with certain common pesticides are twice as likely to get skin cancer, according to new research. Home gardeners who use pesticides may also be at risk. Organic Consumers Association
