Start Training Now for Summer Sports

Train for your summer challenge We hope that Saturday's Get Outside Day inspired you to dust off your hiking boots or break out your running shoes. Although the hot days of summer may seem far away, now is a good time to start training for warm-weather sports. If you're looking for an event to inspire your efforts, consider registering for the Sunchaser Challenge, an all-day, multi-sport competition that benefits endangered species. The May 22 adventure race will be held in four locations, one in each time zone of the continental United States. Participants will run, bike, paddle, and use navigation skills to "rescue" 50 endangered animals from a series of checkpoints. Proceeds support the efforts of the Endangered Species Coalition.
