What to do About the Oil Disaster: Host an Event

NOLA Clean it Up Rally Angry about the oil disaster but can't get down to the Gulf Coast to help? It's not too late to host or attend a Clean It Up event to show your solidarity with the people working to contain the oil, and to hold BP accountable.

The Sierra Club already held a rally in New Orleans this weekend (photos here), but there are more than 50 other Clean It Up events planned across America. Search for an event near you, or consider signing up to organize your own rally, protest, or mock oil spill. Don't forget to take photos and videos to share.

If you can't host or attend an event, you can still send Obama an email and join the "BP Oil Disaster" group on the Sierra Club's Climate Crossroads social network to stay updated about the latest oil-disaster news.
