Green Fashion Monday: Recycled-Silver Necklaces for Moms

Isabelle Grace necklace On Fashion Monday, we highlight a hip, green fashion item. Got a stylish eco-friendly product to recommend? Tell us about it and look for it in an upcoming blog post.

The handcrafted necklaces from Isabelle Grace Jewelry work well for moms wanting an attractive piece to wear that honors her children. The line’s designer, Claudia Montez, has two daughters of whom she says, “They make me want to be better every day. They inspire me. I do this for them.” We’ll assume that’s why all the silver she uses is recycled – she’s thinking of preserving their future world.

Celebrity moms have caught on: Camila Alves, Katherine Heigl, and Tori Spelling all wear the bespoke necklaces – which are pricey, yes (the cost depends on the amount of customization, but expect to pay at least $150), but come with instructions about how to keep them looking new. You provide the children’s names and their birth dates to create a long-lasting, just-for-her gift.
