Green Fashion Monday: Slick T-Shirts

Gulf oil spill shirt On Fashion Monday, we highlight a hip, green fashion item. Got a stylish eco-friendly product to recommend? Tell us about it and look for it in an upcoming blog post.

Want to do your part to help clean up the Gulf? Now you can buy a shirt printed with a "symbolic" amount of actual oil from the spill. We spotted these clever T-shirts, which read, "I helped clean up the Gulf," on Treehugger, but you can buy them from ihelpedcleanupthegulfoilspill.com. Five dollars from every purchase is donated to charities like Tri-State Bird Rescue and Research, a nonprofit organization that's working to rehabilitate wildlife affected by the spill. $20
