Greener Toiletries for Hotels?

The video above, by hotel-toiletry manufacturer Concept Amenities, details one of the many not-so-green aspects of travel: the waste created by one-time-use shampoo, mouthwash, and soap bottles. The brand's new biodegradable bottles help combat this problem by providing travelers with amenities that will quickly break down with the help of microorganisms.

While biodegradablity does make for a nice ending to these products' life-cycle, there's still the matter of the waste, water use, and emissions from the manufacturing and transportation of millions of tiny little bottles.
