Fashion Monday: A Bottle-Cap Belt
On Fashion Monday, we highlight a hip, green fashion item. Got a stylish eco-friendly product to recommend? Tell us about it and look for it in an upcoming blog post.
Belts can be a hassle, but for people without "pants-optional" jobs, they're a necessity. If you can find a belt by which to distinguish yourself, it's a bonus — but finding one that's also eco-friendly is even harder.
The Soda Cap Belt from Littlearth is made of old tire rubber, the buckle is that of a seat belt, and of course, there are the bottle caps. The buckle even detaches to easily transition between pairs of pants, giving you no excuse to not wear it every day. And it comes in sizes small to extra-large, depending on how many bottle caps you require around your waist.
It's available online for $30.
