Green Your Yoga: Forgo Bottled Water

Tip #3: Forgo Bottled Water

Before grabbing bottled water after practice, consider that the bottled-water industry produces 1.5 million tons of plastic waste each year. Instead, refill a reusable, BPA-free container, and encourage your yoga classmates to do the same. If your gym or studio sells bottled water, suggest to its managers a switch to tap water — the shift likely won't compromise health or flavor, considering that a third of bottled water sold in the U.S. comes from municipal sources
