Matt Damon Wants You to Buy this Water Bottle

Matt Damon If you're preparing a Thanksgiving feast this week, you can be thankful that an easy turn of the tap will instantly deliver clean water to your kitchen. Unfortunately, more than 800 million people worldwide don't have access to safe drinking water, which results in 3.5 million deaths per year from water-related diseases.

Many of these deaths are preventable, which is why Matt Damon hopes you'll buy a CamelBak bottle from his nonprofit, Water.org. With 100% of proceeds directly supporting water and sanitation projects in places like Ethiopia, India, and Haiti, the bottles make great holiday gifts.

Whether you snag one of these reusable bottles for yourself or a loved one, you can feel good about giving to an organization that saves lives. On the other hand, we won't fault you if your purchasing motivation is simply the thought of your lips touching the same type of water bottle as one of the sexiest men alive.
