Heavy Metal: Many adventurers trying to conquer Mount Everest drink the plentiful snow to stay alive. Now that snow has proven to be rife with cadmium and arsenic. Washington Post

Chemical Burn: Greenpeace is claiming that chemical companies Dow Chemical and Sasol sent private investigation firms after them to "surveil, infiltrate, and steal."  Greenpeace
