Our Surfer-Turned-Photographer Makes a Splash in Hawaii
Like the ocean waves he so vividly captures, photographer Clark Little stays in motion. We told you that the surfer-turned-shutterbug opened a California gallery in August. Now Little, who keeps getting bigger, has expanded his range by opening another gallery in the North Shore town of Haleiwa (where he lives) on Hawaii's island of Oahu. It's a fitting location, since many of the photos, including his smash-hit Sierra magazine cover, were snapped in that area.
Next up? The Clark Little wave is heading east. The surfing photographer, who won the 2010 Oceans Photography Award, will be exibiting his stunning shots of shore breaks and endangered sea turtles at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History in Washington, D.C. from April to Septemember.
