We are very excited that we will be recognizing our Nation's youngest heroes on April 1st at Prince William Forest Park, next door to Marine Base Quantico. April is National Month of the Military Child and we are so excited to be bringing together a group of 20+ different outdoor recreation and conservation organizations to the Park with fun outdoor activities for the whole family that include trail hikes, fishing and kayaking demonstrations, and an opportunity for families and kids to sign up for late spring and summer activities through the partnering organizations. Additionally, a number of other National Parks, public land divisions, and State Parks, will also be sharing their information with participants.
Co-Hosts for the event include Blue Star Families, the Armed Services YMCA, the National Military Family Association, the Outdoor Alliance for Kids, and the National Park Service. We are excited that Active Network is hosting our registration.
We look forward to seeing you on April 1st at Prince William Forest Park!
