Traverse City is Way Cool

Members of the Sierra Club's Traverse City Group (Michigan) brave the elements to celebrate Mayor Linda Smyka's late-February decision to make Traverse City a Cool City by signing the U.S. Mayors Climate Protection Agreement. More than 400 mayors representing nearly 60 million Americans have now accepted the challenge of reducing global warming emissions on the local level.
