Prof, Students Help Turn Down Heat in New Jersey

The Sierra Club's New Jersey Chapter has partnered with Patrick Hossay, an associate professor of political science at Richard Stockton College, to create a Cool New Jersey Web site. Among the site's features is a Question forum where activists, policy makers, and interested citizens can post questions about global warming, energy, environmental policy, or any related topic, and Hossay's students will answer them. Students are also learning to do energy audits, and Hossay has gotten a grant to buy the necessary equipment. Sierra Club members in each of the New Jersey Chapter's eleven groups will be audited by students, and learn how to do their own audits in the process.
