Youthful Energy Leads to Clean Energy in Yarmouth
Following a screening of Al Gore's "An Inconvenient Truth" several months ago, Yarmouth, Maine, high school students Amrit Robbins and Ned Jones began working with the Sierra Club and Maine Partners for Cool Communities to make theirs a Cool City. Their presentation to the Yarmouth Town Council may have sealed the deal, prompting council chair Carl Winslow to sign the U.S. Mayors Climate Protection Agreement.
