Sierra Club Radio 2-16-2008
This week on Sierra Club Radio: 1) Alice Waters, renowned chef and founder of Chez Panisse, on her new book, The Art of Simple Food 2) Carl Pope shares commentary on Alaska, oil drilling, and polar bears 3) Bee Moorhead on how the Methodist churches in Texas are banding together to buy renewable energy 4) Green living tips from Jennifer Hattam 5) Glenn Hurowitz, author of a new book called Fear and Courage in the Democratic Party.

Great interview, I especially liked the conversation with Bee Moorhead. It's great to hear all the good things happening in the religious response to global warming.

Please take the time to think about the following information. If there truly is a God in Heaven who is the supreme symbol of kindness and life and love for all creatures with a soul than for certain it only stands to reason that God wants animal factory farms and slaughterhouses to close. Please read the following article and ask yourself what would be best for you and all the children?
