The story of Bill Barkeley's climb was inspiring and uplifting. The use of assistive technology should open up other possibilities. By the by, the decreasing snow pack on Kilamanjaro is caused by lack of rain and snow in the area. The temperature at the summit has remained relatively constant during the last decade.
