As the host of Sierra Club Radio, Orli Cotel has conducted more than 300 interviews with leading opinion makers, activists, CEOs and politicians -- ranging from Thomas Friedman of the New York Times, to Indigo Girls' singer Amy Ray. Orli first joined the environmental movement as a grassroots activist, running campaigns in New Orleans, Lake Tahoe, Cleveland, and Philadelphia. She later became the Sierra Club's National Publicist, searching out the most captivating environmental stories and heroes and pitching their tales to top media outlets. Born and raised in Manhattan, Orli got her start in radio as a child, recording jingles and voice-overs for national commercials. She now lives in San Francisco.
