Green Decor Week: DIY Wall Art

An arrangement of empty frames is a good way to decorate a room The new year is a great time to break old habits and begin new routines, but sometimes a fresh start requires a change of scenery. This week, we'll provide tips to help you redecorate your living space without harming the environment or breaking the bank.

Tip #2: Make Art with Repurposed Materials

After your walls have a fresh coat of nontoxic paint, decorate them with framed artwork. There's no need to spend a fortune: Find used frames at Goodwill or on Freecycle, then create your own masterpieces by framing last year's calendar images, holiday cards, or wrapping paper.
