Green Fashion Monday: Recycled Gloves

Eco glove On Fashion Monday, we highlight a hip, green fashion item. Got a stylish eco-friendly product to recommend? Tell us about it and look for it in an upcoming blog post.

Since it's just about ski season, you may be looking gloves to keep your digits cozy. Consider Swany's Eco-Gaunt glove, made from recycled materials. The white-and-gray hand coverers are durable, warm, and made for skiing and snowboarding. The shell and lining are recyclable, and the insulation combines Eco-Dry lining with Primaloft and a waterproof insert. The gloves are $60 and part of the Eco-Circle collection.

The best part: After wearing them for a few seasons, you can return the gloves to Swany in a supplied eco-friendly envelope. The company will recycle all the materials and turn them into a new pair. This energy-efficient process reduces carbon emissions by 77% and requires 84% less energy than producing the gloves from virgin materials.
