Green Your Super Bowl Party: Be the Host

FootballpartySunday's the Super Bowl, an American institution during which living-room celebrations can reach the same fever pitch as the stadium itself. Are you hosting a party? This week's tips are about how to make it greener.

Tip #4: Throw a party!

The big game's always more fun to watch with a crowd, so tell your friends and neighbors (regardless of who they’re rooting for) to come to your place this Sunday. You'll save energy by sharing your TV, even while building community. Encourage your guests to walk, carpool, bike, or take public transit — and to unplug vampire energy sources when they leave their own homes.

Tell Us: How many people are you planning to have over for the Super Bowl?
