Green Your DIY: Pedal-Powered Fun

Bike repair Whether you're a habitual tinkerer, an aspiring homesteader, or a hands-on parent in search of activities to fill a child's summer vacation, we've got you covered. This week we'll provide tips, ideas, and resources for green do-it yourself projects.

Tip #3: Hack Your Bike

Make your two-wheeled wonder even more wonderful this summer by adding some creative upgrades. Instructables is a great resource for DIY bike projects: Learn how to re-cover a worn seat, sew a customized bag, or build your own recumbent bike. With a bit of elbow grease, you could even treat yourself to a pedal-powered smoothie!
