Maine Moving Planet Brings the Crowds

The Moving Planet event at the Common Ground Fair in Unity, Maine, was a huge success! Sierra Club volunteers and hundreds of people rallied to form a "350" at the Fair's Commons.

Maine 350
Sierra Club volunteers handed out more than a hundred stickers saying "Moving Beyond Fossil Fuel to Clean Energy," which we saw on people all over the fair.

Sierra Club Volunteer Joan Saxe (pictured above, right, in the bright yellow vest) recruited many of the people who joined the rally and more than a dozen Sierra Club students and members participated. It was a lot of fun and many people signed up to learn more about Sierra Club programs.
